Club Champs 2023
The Club Championships Open events kick start from this weekend. The group stages must be played by the 30th April. The Quarter finals and semi finals must take place before Friday 12th May when our Finals Night is taking place.

The internal leagues are paused for April. All players who are currently in the internal leagues have been entered into the competition, plus any players who have opted to play as well.
It is the responsibility of all players to work to arrange and play all of their matches over the month. The top 2 players in each group will qualify for the Quarter finals of their competition. If scores are not entered, the committee will deem the match has not been played. Any issues with arranging games with your opponent should be raised with the committee.
Matches should be played as best of 5 to 11 with the score put in the grid. This should be 3-0, 3-1, 3-2 etc. The internal leagues scoring system does not apply for this event. In the event that you run out of time to complete the match and there is no available courts to finish, you should use your finishing score 2-1, 2-2 etc in the grid.
If you cannot play during the knockout stages of the event, we encourage you to play your matches as normal and make this known to the committee. We may be able to arrange the Quarter Finals/Semi Finals at a time suitable for you and your opponent. If this is not possible, the 3rd place finisher in the group or the losing player in the knockout games will progress.
Wishing you all the best for the matches over the next 6 weeks.
